Earthen Patina I

This piece has a depth of color that builds and shifts throughout the painting, filled with rust colors and some hints of green patina.  It has translucent texture and picks up light well.  This painting is deeply affected by the light, if you prefer darker and more reddish tones you can give it indirect light but if you prefer the warmer glowing tones of rust you can light it more or from above. I painted this at the same time as another and as of now they could be purchased together. They are large paintings, each at 44" x 60", on stretched canvas with gallery wrapped painted edges, and wired for hanging.
